Peruvian cuisine is considered the most varied in the world. It is mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records as the one with the greatest variety of typical dishes in the world (491).

Thanks to the pre-columbian (pre-inca and inca), spanish and african and lately chinese-cantonese, japanese, italian and french influence, it brings together a wide variety of blends from four continents into one,  providing a wide variety of typical dishes. The Peruvian cuisine is always in evolution.
In the beverage area, the “PISCO SOUR” is the national drink. It is made with Pisco (a Peruvian liquor).  We also have the Inca Kola, a soda pop original from Peru, it is the one sold the most in the country.

The city of Lima has been named Gourmet Capital of South America by the Peruvian government.
