Present to the immigration authorities the Embarkation and Disembarkation Card (handed to you by airline personnel or an immigration officer at the port of entry). You must keep this card as you have to turn it in at your departure. If you lose it, you will have to pay a penalty. The penalty fee is shown in the card.

Customs authority will give you a form so you can declare any taxable goods you are bringing into the country, if you have nothing to declare state so in the form.  The following items are exempt from paying taxes: clothing and personal use items, laptop computers and articles used in the practice of adventure sports. For detailed information check with the Peruvian Consulate in your country or your country’s  Consulate in Peru.

In the same form you must declare if you are bringing any plant, vegetable or animal species. If that is the case it is necessary to have an authorization or license issued by the health authority in the country of origin. If you do not have this document, the Peruvian health authority may determine that the plant species be incinerated and the animal slaughtered.
